How we pick

Each category lists about ten products people actually buy for that job — not a sponsored shelf dump. For every pick we say who it’s for and why it’s on the list.

Search looks across those lists. If we don’t have a match, you can jump straight to Amazon search from the results page.

Checkout stays on Amazon. If you buy through our links, we earn a commission on qualifying purchases. That doesn’t change what we put on a list.
